Leader of Economic Freedom Fighters Julius Malema is a successful businessman who has been involved with several engineering companies.
Malema also owns a splashy property in Hydepark, Johannesburg. He has been accused of being involved in corruption to amass his wealth.
Malema bought two farms in 2009 and 2011 respectively for R9 million and a home in Sandton for R3,6 million and another house in Flora Park for R1 million.
Julius Malema’s salary is estimated to be around R1,3 million per annum.
The leader of EFF has been accused of benefiting from corrupt deals especially when he was leader of the ANC youth league. Malema’s Ratanang Family Trust has been fingered in corruption tender deals.
Malema was also said to be holding shares in On-Point Engineering a company that was awarded a R50 million tender by the Limpopo Department of Roads and Transport.
