Outsurance has updated their statement regarding the removal of adverts featuring media personality Katlego Maboe.
It also released a statement last week saying that they were removing all adverts with Katlego following his cheating and abuse scandals.
Outsurance spokesperson recently said in a statement that Katlego was not an employee permanently contracted with them.
He was hired as a professional actor who was paid for the ad campaign he was booked for.
She also stated that Katlego had been fully paid for his past and current work including the full usage fees for all the whole campaign.
In a video released last week, Katlego revealed that he cheated on his wife Monique Muller with his colleague Nikkita Murray.
Lerato who is the spokesperson of Outsurance clarified that Katlego and Nikkita met independently. She also said Murray worked with Outsurance but she was never an employee at the company.
