The Star Newspaper reports that popular Musician, Chicco Twala, said his son, Longwe Twala is not one of the people who were arrested for the murder of Senzo Meyiwa.
Chicco told the newspaper that his son was at home as he is not responsible for the murder.
This follows an emotional interview by Siyabonga Miya on Newzroom Africa TV Station last week , where Miya claimed that Longwe was the one who pulled the trigger after an argument with Kelly’s sister, Zandi, who was Longwe’s girlfriend.
National Police commissioner, Khehla Sithole, told journalists at a press conference yesterday that three of the people who were arrested were not in the house on the night of the shooting.
The five will appear at the Boksburg Magistrate court today, including the man is said to have pulled the trigger.
There were 7 people at the house on the night of the shooting : Kelly Khumalo , Zandi Khumalo, their mother Ntombi, Mthokozisi Twala, Tumelo Mdladla and two of Kelly ‘s children.
Meyiwa’s brother, Sifiso, told journalists at the Afroforum offices that he could not believe what he heard about who could be the mastermind.
Afrifoum said they are confident that the mastermind will be Arrested soon.
