The wife of former minister Malusi Gigaba, Norma Mngoma briefly appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Friday.

She faces charges of assault and malicious damage to property however the case was postponed to 12 February 2021.

It was postponed to allow for further investigation and for the outcome of motion proceedings in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.

Norma Mngoma was arrested in July for alleged domestic violence, assault, malicious damage to property.

This is after she damaged a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon, which was being driven by her husband but owned by his friend, a North West businessman Thapelo Tshephe.
