TDK Macassette , recently dropped her new song, Mashobana.
BruceLeigh (Luanda Shembele), says TDK Macassette stole the chorus from her song, uQekeqe. You can listen to the song by BruceLeigh below.
She only changed the words and the beat, but the chorus is the same as our song.
BruceLeigh is Calling for her fans to Boycott TDK Macassette. Writing on her Facebook page, she said:
It has been 24 hours since my Management has reached out to TDK MACASSETTE to try and settle the copyrights infringement posed by her single uMASHOBANA. The song is basically a Butchered Version of my Single uQekeqe released in 2019.We are now opting to go the legal route as she has failed to withdrawthe song from all digital platforms within the stipulated time frame.TDK is a thief who makes a living off other people’s hard work. I am hurt by this because when we try to contact her uyasdelela.. This has to stop!!!💔😪
