The Queen is one of the most watched shows despite several complaints issued against the production company that produces it, Ferguson Films and it’s owners Connie and Shona Ferguson.
Other actors and actresses including Vatiswa Ndara and Rami Chuene have complained about low salaries and mistreatment.
Thembsie Matu who plays the role of Petronella earns between R20 000 to R25 000.
Loyiso McDonald and Zandile Msutwana earn an estimated salary of R30 000 to R35 000. This is the same as what Zenande Mfenyane, SK Khoza and Themba Ndaba earn.
Jessica Nkosi, Rapulana Seiphemo and Ntando Duma are newcomers on the show. These are in the range of R40 000 to R50 000.
However Connie Ferguson’s paycheck has not been revealed but she is also the co-executive producer of the show.
