Steve Kompela has confirmed that he will be joining Mamelodi Sundowns as part of their coaching staff after resigning from Golden Arrows yesterday.
It is still not quite clear at this point what Steve Kompela’s official position will be. A statement released suggested that he will be a senior coach.
A club official said he will be reporting to Rhulani Mokwena and Manqoba Mnqithi. Masandawana announced last week that Mnqithi and Mokwena will be taking over from Pitso Mosimane as joint head coaches.
Kompela thanked Arrows Chairperson Mato Madlala who supported him during his time with the club.

Tweeps have reacted to Kompela’s assignment to the Sundowns coaching staff. Most of the tweeps seemed happy for Kompela.
