Entertainment powerhouse Connie and Shona Ferguson have shown time and time again that they are not afraid to pull the trigger and fire people from their television shows.

Actress Dineo Langa who had been with the show since its first episode in 2016 was fired from The Queen after she asked for some time out to shoot another movie.

Dineo who played the role of Kea Khoza revealed that she was fired. The actress said she received an email saying she should not return to the show after lockdown.

Veteran actress Rami Chuene was also killed off from the hit soapie when she sided with fellow actress Vatiswa Ndara.

Ndara had written a letter to the Sports, Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa complaining about the Fergusons. The letter was highly critical of the Fergusons. Rami played the role of Gracious Mabuza.

Mlamli Mangcala who played the role of Sthembiso Radebe on The Queen left the show after making allegations of lies and deception. He claimed that he was being exploited by the Fergusons.

According to Mlamli he had to cover for his own travel and accommodation costs when travelling from CapeTown to Johannesburg to shoot and was never paid the salary promised to him.

Sello Maake kaNcube who played the role of Kgosi left The Queen. He said the Fergusons were the ones who could give details about his exit from the show.

He admitted that there was something wrong. He also supported Rami Chuene when she was booted out of the show.

Marah Louw was also fired by the Fergusons after she apparently refused to shoot a scene which was too traumatic for her.

She said the scene was from her book thus there was some copyright issues.
