It was reported earlier that SABC was cancelling it’s contract with Muvhango. The show will be replaced by popular soapie The Queen.
It is however not unknown when The Queen will premiere on SABC as Muvhango still needs to iron things out and finalise some of the episodes that are still outstanding.
According to media reports, the Fergusons want to compete with Generations The Legacy and Uzalo in ratings. They also want everyone to have access to their show.
The Queen is currently the most viewed show on Mzansi Magic despite the fact that fans are not happy with their current story line.

Muvhango has been struggling to attract viewers for years thus it will be joining other shows that were cancelled by SABC that include Isidingo: The Need.
