Norma Gigaba has come out saying her children were badly affected by her and Malusi Gigaba’s public fights and separation.

In a lengthy affidavit Norma has detailed how her arrest affected the children as it all happened in front of them at home.

She revealed that the events from the time the Hawks arrested her to the time she was accused of trying to kill Gigaba, all affected the children with their school work.

“My two minor children were present at the house at the time of the arrest, which was traumatic to them and very insensitive on the part of the police officers, she said.”

Norma added that teachers called her saying the children were not performing well in class. The children were struggling and were upset as a result of conflict at home.

The wife of former Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba, Norma admitted to damaging the G Wagon but denied all the other charges against her.
