Television personality and model Maps Maponyane has been arrest. The son of soccer legend Max Maponyane was busted by the Mpumalanga Provincial Traffic Officers yesterday.
The actor was arrested for excessive speeding. He was driving his Mercedes Benz SUV towards Mbombela at the time of his arrest.
Mpumalanga Community Safety Spokesperson said Maponyane was caught driving at 178km/hr on a 120km/hr zone on the N4.
The 30 year old was charged with reckless driving and negligence. He was released on R500 bail by Mbombela Police.

Maps is expected to appear in court on Friday. Actors Nay Maps, Cornet Mamabolo and more were once arrested for breaking rules of the road.
