Rapper and songwriter Rouge says that her latest single, Senzeni Na featuring Amanda Black was inspired by the growing cases of Gender based violence.

The rapper said that the song was meant to raise awareness in a different way and that is why she had to do the vocals for the chorus herself.

Rouge said that she did not want people to think the song was touching because she featured Amanda Black however she wanted people to know it was herself raising awareness about Gender Based Violence.

She said that she had planned to release the song along with a campaign against Gender Based Violence however she has had to reconsider because of Covid 19.

The phenomenal rapper said that she is glad that her team consists mainly of men and because of that she is able to understand conversations men have about women.

Rouge says she is currently working on an album and is near completion however she only release after assessing the success of her latest single with Amanda Black.
