Actress Rami Chuene has never been afraid to speak her mind even if it gets her in trouble with her employers.

She was fired from The Queen cast where she played the role of Gracious T.Gom Mabuza after she stood with actress Vatiswa Ndara who was accusing the Fergusons of unfair treatment.

This time she accused them of being insensitive to the plight of South African women and children suffering by rehiring an actor who is a GBV perpetrator.

She tweeted, “Man (actor) beats up women, video goes viral, production fires man cos they are against GBV, jikijiki same production rewards same man on another show of theirs with a bigger role.”

Though she did not mention any man it was clear that she was referring to Peter Mashigo. He was fired from The Throne, a Fergusons production after he beat up his lover.

However he was hired to be Thato’s father on The Queen by the same production company Ferguson Films.
