Radio and television veteran, Bob Mabena’s children paid tribute to their father at his memorial service in Houghton in Johannesburg.
Zinhle Mabena sang Lira’s song for her father and also spoke about all the good times they shared including Father’s Day.
Clementine revealed that they had the coolest dad ever. She added that Mabena smothered her and all her siblings with love. She also said that their dad used to feed all of them since they were kids.
Mabena passed on earlier this week after succumbing to cardiac arrest at the age of 51. The radio and television legend is expected to be laid to rest on Saturday.
Bob Mabena worked in the South African entertainment industry for decades. Celebrities, colleagues and his followers all sent their tributes and deepest condolences.
