South African rapper Cassper Nyovest is mourning the death of his father Edgar Dikgole, he was 71 years old. He took to social media to announce the sad news.
Some fans thought it was Cassper Nyovest’s biological father but Edgar was Cassper’s step father and he acted as a father figure to him for so many years.
He wrote on Twitter, “RIP papa. Thank you for everything.”
Fans sent messages of condolences to Cassper but were still confused to see the picture of Dikgole. Cassper’s biological father is Letsebela Phoolo.
To clear the confusion Cassper tweeted, “I know I don’t need to explain myself but just to put the facts out, this man was not my biological father but he lived with my mom for years and he has been the man in my mom’s life for years hence he is my dad. RIP Papa Edgar.”
