Earlier this week it was reported that Cornet Mamabolo was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
The Sunday Sun team reported that the Skeem Saam actor was charged at Sandringham Police station for driving while drunk above the limit.
Mamabolo who plays the role of Thabo Maputla on the SABC 1 drama series has denied the allegations that he was arrested for driving under the influence.
He issued a statement saying the reports were false and without merits and that he would never drive while drunk.

“The reports are not true, they are false and aimed to tarnish my name”, he said.
Mamabolo was arrested by the police while driving a BMW X4 on the N3 and was found to be above the alcohol limit after a breathalyser test.
