The South African Music Awards released the list of nominations for the 2020 awards this week and already there is so much disappointment.

The fans and artists are not happy thus they have accused the SAMAs of tribalism. Limpopo born artists despite having produced some of the best hit songs they were sidelined and not nominated.

Master KG, Sho Madjozi and Makhadzi who all hail from Limpopo were not to be seen on the list of the nominated artists or songs.

Makhadzi revealed that she submitted everything but in the end she was not nominated. She however congratulated all the SAMAs 2020 nominees.

Master KG also took to Twitter as well congratulating the nominated artists and also promising to work even harder until they recognise him.

Makhadzi’s ‘Matorokisi’, Master KG’s ‘Jerusalema’ and Sho Madjozi’s ‘John Cena’ all made waves. Fans said all artists must be recognised because all these three songs moved the whole of Mzansi and beyond.
