Did Itumeleng Khune Sign For Orlando Pirates?

Social media is trending with reports that Khune signed for Orlando Pirates with a Twitter hashtag #KhunesignsforPirates.

Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs goal keeper Itumeleng Khune has not signed for rivals Orlando Pirates.

He is still a Kaizer Chiefs player and there are no negotiations taking place between Khune and Orlando Pirates.

In  November 2015 Itumeleng Khune’s younger brother, Jacob signed for Orlando Pirates Academy.

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune confirmed the news shortly after Jacob was officially promoted from the Augusto Palacios Apprentice Academy to the Orlando Pirates U-17 Academy.

Itumeleng Khune remains a one club man having been brought up in the Kaizer Chiefs Academy since 1999 after joining as a defender.
