City Press has revealed that Black Coffee was slapped with a R40 Million Tax penalty by the South African Revenue Service (SARS).

However, the popular DJ managed to negotiate the assessment down to R8 Million.

The case is currently before the Johannesburg High Court where SARS was in the process of ataching Black Coffee’s immovable assets.

Black Coffee wrote in his court papers that his income has been affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. His lawyers said he will sell some of his propety to pay off the R8 Million.

However, the popular DJ recently bought a new sports car.

Black Coffee is also embroiled in a divorce case with his ex-wife Enhle Mbali who is demanding R4 Million for legal fees before the court proceedings can begin.
