Nigerian artist Burna Boy has for the second time won the BET Award for Best International Act.
This year he beat DR Congo’s Innoss’B, South Africa’s Sho Madjozi, UK’s Stormzy and Dave, France’s Ninho and S.Pri Noir.
Since the Award was held live in L.A. Live, Los Angeles, U.S. but streamed virtually due to social distancing protocols Burna Boy was unable to go.
However he accepted the award from the comfort of his home in Nigeria.

The ceremony also paid tributes to Kobe Bryant, Little Richard and featured performances by Alicia Keys, Chloe x Halle and Megan Thee Stallion among others.
Beyoncé was also honoured with the Humanitarian Award for her decades-long commitment to philanthropy.
