Andile ‘Bobo’ Mbuthu has finally been laid to rest. He was brutally murdered earlier this month in Tongaat in KwaZulu-Natal Province.
The Grade 12 pupil was kidnapped and tortured after being accused of stealing alcohol at a local tarven.
A video of tortured and physically abused Bobo was posted on social media before his body was discovered in a river close to the place where he was assaulted.
Close family members, friends and members of the community paid their last respects to Bobo after almost four weeks since he was killed.
Seven suspects have so far been arrested in connection with the murder of the 16 year old Bobo. The matter is now in Court.
